CAIRO – 15 May 2019: Tottenham Hotspur South Korean winger, Son Heung-min, trusts his team ability to win the UEFA Champions League title for the first time in the club’s history.

The winger also warned Liverpool that he will do his best to help his team winning the title.

“It is in three weeks, so everything is in our hands. I hope that I am in fire mode. I am a really, really positive guy and it is one of the best feelings to be playing in the Champions League Final, so I just want to make sure that I am ready for every single ball and every single second.” Son told press on Tuesday.

The South Korean played a great role in his team’s route to the final having scored four goals including three goals against Manchester City at the quarter finals.

Son added “Winning the Champions League means a lot, but losing would be painful for a long, long time. We just want to be ready and then we will see what happens.”

Tottenham reached the final after achieving a 3-2 victory over Ajax in Amsterdam despite their 1-0 loss at home.

He continued “Liverpool are a strong team, so how we play will be important.”
