Smouha goalkeeper, Mohamed Abo Gabal, was the hero for is team after he stopped all Al-Ahly attempts to score during the game but he failed to save Gerlado’d shot at the last second that found the target.

Smouha coaching staff attacked the referee after the game as he added extra seven minutes at the second half stoppage time then he added another two minutes as the game stopped during the added time.

On the other hand, Al-Ahly manager, Martin Lasarte, praised his team players after the game, saying “The players had a fantastic game and we deserved the victory. We created many chances to score but we failed to convert them to goals. The late goal was a reward after a great performance.”
