CAIRO – 16 April 2019: Saudi Arabian giants, Al Hilal, booked their spot at 018–19 Arab Club Champions Cup, known officially as the 2018–19 Zayed Champions Cup after they defeated Ahli Jeddah on penalties.

The first leg in Riyadh ended with a 1-0 victory for Al Hilal but Al Ahli managed to win the second leg in Jeddah with the same result and the game went to penalty shootouts in which Al Hilal won 3-2.

Al Hilal will face Tunisian side, Etoile du Sahel, in the final at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain on Thursday 18 April.

“It will be a perfect final against one of the best teams in the region.” Al Hilal winger, Nawaf El Abed, told press ahead of the final.

Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) appointed Emirati referee, Mohamed Abdallah, to take charge of the final and he will be assisted by Mohamed Al Hammadi and Massoud Hassan.
