CAIRO - 4 April 2019: Egypt ranked 57th in FIFA rankings and came eighth among the African countries.

Belgium maintained its position on top of the rankings while Senegal continued its domination on the African teams.

Senegal is in the 24th place before Tunisia, Africa’s second, which occupies the 28th place.

Nigeria, Africa’s third, is in the 42nd place, while Morocco comes in the 45th position, DR Congo in the 46th , Ghana in the 49th , Cameroon in the 54th and Egypt in the 57th.
Egypt lost nine points after playing two matches in March. The Pharaohs lost a friendly game against Nigeria and drew against Niger.

The 10 countries on top of the rankings maintained their positions, including Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Croatia, Uruguay, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark.

FIFA depends on the rankings to classify the countries in the World Cup qualification and finals draw.
