CAIRO – 2 April 2019: Manchester City Argentinean striker, Sergio Aguero, will miss his team’s clash against Cardiff City on Wednesday night at the Premier League.

“He didn't train the last two days, tomorrow he is not able to play. Hopefully next Saturday or Tuesday but we will see the evolution in the next few days." The team manager, Pep Guardiola, told press on Tuesday.

Aguero has had a great season with his team having scored 19 goals at the League and he is leading the race to win the Premier League top goal scorer award.

The Argentinean is two goals ahead of Liverpool’s Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Pierre-EmerickAubameyang of Arsenal and Harry Kane of Tottenham.

Guardiola added “It is a final every single game. Cardiff, what I saw in the last game against Chelsea, is alive. They have spirit and what they do, they do it well. It is not like the team is already done."

Liverpool are leading the league title with 79 points, two points ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City, who still have a postponed game.
