Egypt faces Niger in 2019 AFCON qualifications

CAIRO, 23 March 2019: The Egyptian football national team faces Niger in the last match of the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifications’ group stages. Niger hosts Egypt on Stade Général Seyni Kountché at 05:30 p.m. CLT.

Egypt have already secured their spot at 2019 African Cup of Nations as they share the top of the Group with Tunisia with 12 points each, on the top of winning the rights to host the tournament last January.

Mostafa Mohamed, Mohamed Nabil Dunga, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh, Ahmed Ayman Mansour, Ammar Hamdy and Abdulrahman Magdy will wear the national team jersey for the first time.

The coaching staff of the Pharaohs managed by Javier Aguirre settled on the starting line-up and the expected starting 11 players against Niger will be:

DEF: Ali Gabr, Baher Mohammadi, Karim Hafez, Mohamed Hany,
