Naguez out of Tunisia squad for eSwatini game

Cairo – 12 March 2019: Tunisia national team manager, Alain Giresse, announced on Tuesday the team squad for the clash against eSwatini at African Cup of Nations’ Qualifiers and Zamalek defender, Hamdi Naguez, was excluded from the list.

The player was dropped for inappropriate behavior against two players from the Tunisian handball national team according to reports from Tunisian TV station, Nessma.

Giresse denied the reports saying that he wants to give the chance to another two players in his position.

The manager added Al-Ahly left back, Ali Maaloul, and Zamalek attacking midfielder, Ferjani Sassi, to the team squad.

Giresse’s chosen list consists of:

Goalkeepers:
Farouk Ben Mustapha, Aymen Mathlouthi, Mouez Hassen

Defenders:
Wagdy Ksharida, Mohammed Drager, Larry Azouni, Rami Badawi, Yassin Meriah, Siam Ben Youssef, Dylan Braun, Ali Maaloul, Osama Haddadi.

Midfielders:
Mohamed Amin Bin Omar, Elias Sukhairi, Ayman Ben Mohammed, Ferjani Sassi, Bilal Al-Saeedani

Strikers:
Naeem al-Saliti, Anis al-Badri, Saif al-Din al-Khawi, Bassam al-Sarrafi, Wahbi al-Khazri, Taha Yassin al-Khanisi, Yusuf al-Masqni, Firas Shawat and Yassin al-Shamakh
