CAIRO - 5 June 2017: Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim, known as Kaharaba will remain with his Zamalek SC Team squad as the club's board upheld banning the 23-yaer-old player from joining another club since his services at Zamalek are much needed in the upcoming period.

Zamalek SC faces a busy period, as the team is currently competing at the CAF Champions league and the domestic Egyptian Cup competition.

Alongside with their archrivals Al-Ahly SC, Zamalek SC is also set to participate in the Arab club championship, which is scheduled to be held between July 22 and August 5 in Egypt.

Earlier in May, Kahraba was being considered for another season with the Saudi Ittihad Jedda where he has been on loan for a season-long contract.

The national team striker showcased his superb football abilities and skills during the late African Cup of Nations in Gabon. He netted a late winning goal in Egypt’s quarterfinal clash with Morocco to defeat the Atlas Lions for the first time in 31 years.
