A magical night for Barcelona in Bernabeu Stadium

CAIRO – 3 March 2019: Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 1-0 on Saturday night at the Spanish League thanks to a goal from Barcelona's Croatian midfielder, Ivan Rakitic.

The Catalan team achieved their fourth straight victory in Madrid at the league for the first time in history and took another step towards achieving the domestic title for the second year in a row.



Barcelona achieved their second victory against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu in four days after their 3-0 victory at the Spanish Cup semi-finals' second leg that sent Barcelona to the final.

“There aren't many teams in the world that can win here twice in three days. We're very proud of the work we've done and it was deserved.We had to fight and we did just that,"Rakitic told press after the game.

At the cup clash, Barcelona equaled Real Madrid’s record and reached 95 wins at El-Classico and they reached their 96th victory on Saturday night to become the leading side at the all-time Classico win list.
