CAIRO_20 February 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, suffered on Tuesday night when his team hosted German giants, Bayern Munich, at UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg.

The game ended with a goalless draw despite the chances both teams had created.

SaLah Led the team attacking Line alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino but the trio failed to break the German defense in the whole game.

Salah had many chances to score but he failed to find the target like his teammate, Mane, who had many clear chances to score especially at the first half.

“He lacked his usual explosiveness and he should have done better with the few opportunities that fell his way.” Independent commented on Salah’s performance in the game.

Salah was decisive for Liverpool’s run at the competition last season and he led his team to the Final but he picked a shoulder injury during the first half of the game and followed his team’s 3-1 loss to Real Madrid from the stands.

Liverpool fans put much hopes on the Egyptian winger shoulders to score at the second leg in Munich and lead his team to reach the next round.

The second leg is scheduled on March 13 in Munich.
