CAIRO_20 February 2019: Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers, is interested in signing Egypt International, Ramadan Sobhy, according to Daily Mail.

The English club showed interest in signing the Egyptian winger after he regained his amazing performance while on a loan with the Egyptian club, Al-Ahly.

Sobhi, Al-Ahly academy product, left his childhood team in 2016 to join Stoke City where he played two seasons before leaving to Huddersfield.

Ramadan failed to establish himself as a key player with Huddersfield and joined his childhood team, Al-Ahly in January on a loan to secure his place at the national team squad that will participate at 2019 African Cup of Nations held in Egypt next summer.

Ramadan was among the national team squad that lost 2017 African Cup of Nations Final to Cameroon.

Egypt is the most successful nation in the history of the competition as Egypt has won a record of seven titles including three in a row between 2006 and 2010.

Egypt hosted four African Cup of Nations' tournaments in 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006 and they failed to achieve the title only in 1974.
