CAIRO – 6 February 2019: Egypt's national team manager, Javier Aguirre, is set to ruleLiverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, out of the national team's camp in March.

The national team will play two games in March; the first one against Niger at the last round of the African Cup of Nations’ qualifiers and the second one will be a friendly game against Nigeria.

Aguirre is keen to rest other foreign based players like Mahmoud Hassan known as Trezeguet who plays at Kasımpaşa and Ahmed Hegazi who plays for West Bromwich Albion at the English championship.

“The clash against Nigeria will be a good chance for many players to prove their abilities and wear the national team's jersey. Aguirre is following all the games at the domestic league to add many players to the national team's squad,” EhabLehita, director of the Egyptian national team, told ON Sport on Tuesday.

The national team is preparing for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt and they hope to achieve the title after losing the final in 2017 to Cameroon.
