CAIRO –23 January 2019: The Moroccan new Zamalek's star, Khaled BoTayeb, featured in Zamalek's squad, announced on Wednesday night, which will face Pyramids FC on Thursday night.

BoTayeb international card arrived to the Egyptian Football Association headquarter; the Moroccan joined Zamalek during this transfer window.

Zamalek's squad didn't include Ayman Hefny, Ahmed Fattouh and Madboly beside Youssef Obama and the goalkeeper, Gennesh, due to suspension.

Zamalek is on the top of the standings with 41 points, three points above Pyramids but three games less.

The Referee's committee has chosen the Italian referee, Gianluca Rocchi, to rule the expected clash.

The 45-years-old ruled three matches in the previous World Cup; Portugal vs Spain, Japan vs Senegal and Brazil vs Mexico in the 16th round.

The Zamalek vs Pyramids game will be difficult inside and outside the stadium due to the events related to it and the psychological state of the two teams.

Pyramids recently announced the signing of Cristian Benavente, Peru international and Royal Charleroi of Belgium, who is nicknamed by "Peruvian Ronaldinho".

During the current winter transfer period, Pyramids signed Amr Marey of Tunisia's ES Sahel, John Sivonetti, Eric Traore of Misr Al Makkasah, Abdullah Al-Saeed of Saudi's Al-Ahly Jeddah, Omar Khreibin of Saudi's Al Hilal, Palestinian Hamed Hamdan.
