CAIRO – 23 January 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, deleted his official Twitter account on Wednesday hours after sending a cryptic tweet.

Salah tweeted, “2019 Resolution: Time to get in touch, for real.”

A source close to Salah told Filgoal that his tweet is not related to his club or the previous problems he had with the Egyptian Football Federation.

This season, Salah suffered a frustrating start with his team but he regained his form and scored 16 goals at the league, leading his team to Premier League leadership as they are four points ahead of defending champions, Manchester City.

Salah and his teammates are preparing for the clash against Leicester City at home on January 30.

Liverpool has achieved an amazing 4-3 victory at their last Premier League game against Crystal Palace which gave the team a massive motivation to achieve the Premier League title for the first time since 1990.

Salah was crowned African Player of the Year for the second time in a row and he is the first Egyptian player to do so.
