IR Tanger thanks Zamalek after qualifying

CAIRO, 20 January 2019: IR Tanger thanked Zamalek SC in a letter expressing their gratitude for the hospitality of the White club's officials to the Moroccan club.

Zamalek defeated IR Tanger 3-1 at Borg el-Arab stadium in the second leg of the 32nd round of CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday night.



“We thank everyone in Zamalek for their efforts, hospitality and good treatment for our club during our stay in Egypt,” IR Tanger’s director, Khaddor Abdelkader said.

“The most sincere words of congratulations for your qualification to the group stage; we hope you succeed in your journey in the tournament,”

Zamalek wait for the CAF Confederation Cup draw which will be held on Monday.

Zamalek faces Pyramids FC on Thursday in a critical match; the White club hopes to increase the gap of points with Pyramids in the match which was postponed from the 9th round of the Egyptian league.

Zamalek is on the top of the standings with 41 points, three points above Pyramids but three games less.
