Al-Ahly show their interest in Hussein el-Shahat

CAIRO –29 December 2018: Al-Ahly revealed that they presented an offer to include Al-Ain's Egyptian winger, Hussein El-Shahat.

Al-Ahly stated in an official statement that the contracting committee wanted to sign the Egyptian talent and it waits for Al-Ain's reply.

Al-Ahly also assured that all the reports, which claimed that Al-Ahly already signed el-Shahat, are wrong.

Hussein el-Shahat, led his team to defeat Argentina’s River Plate at the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final. Shahat is the first Egyptian player to reach the tournament'sfinal.

Shahat played a massive role in his team’s journey towards the final and he scored their second goal at their 3-0 victory over Esperance at the second round.

Hussein el-Shahat's brother and agent, Mohamed el-Shahat, revealed he received many offers to sign his brother.

He was named the best play-maker of the previous Emirati league.
