CAIRO – 26 December 2018: Tunisian club Etoile Du Sahel's board member, Faisal Khalifa, announced on Tuesday that the club will decide the future of their midfielder, Mohamed Amine ben Amor, within a week.

“We are waiting for the opinion of our new manager, Roger Lemerre, and then we will decide,” Khalifa told Tunisian newpaper, Al-Shorouk.

Ben Amor, born in Sousse, joined their local club, Etoile Du Sahel, at 18 and since then he has become a key player at the club and the national team.

The midfielder was among Etoile’s golden generation that achieved the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup, 2016 Tunisian League title and the domestic Cup twice in 2014 and 2015.

Khaifa added, “We have received two official offers for the player from a first division club in France and a second division club in Spain.”

The player has been recently linked with Egyptian clubs, Al-Ahly and Pyramids FC.

Ben Amor is a starting player at Tunisia national team; he represented his nation at the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon and the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Ben Amor’s only participation at the World Cup came against England at the opening game when he replaced Naïm Sliti at the last 15 minutes
