CAIRO – 24 December 2018: British Television Network, Skysports, unveiled on Monday their standings for 2018 Premier League stars of the year and Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, came on top of the list.

“The Egyptian has enjoyed dazzling 12 months with Jurgen Klopp's side, capping last season by winning the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards and returning to top form in the new campaign,” Skysports stated on Monday.

The British Network website recalled many moments that highlight Salah’s year like his outstanding long-range goal in Liverpool's 4-3 victory over Manchester City at Anfield in January and his amazing performance against Watford in the same month when he scored four goals.

Their highlights of the Egyptian’s year also included his two goals at Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham in February and his goal against Napoli that led Liverpool to Champions League round of 16.

Skysports pundit, Phil Thompson, added “He always looks like he can score. He never seems to doubt himself and that's probably his greatest quality. He's always in there getting into positions to try and score a goal."

Skysports announced earlier that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard came second while Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling was their third Premier League star of the year.
