CAIRO – 20 December 2018: West Bromwich Albion defender, Craig Dawson, expressed his admiration of his teammate, Ahmed Hegazi, who has had an amazing run with the club since he joined in summer 2017.

“He’s a very experienced and reliable lad to have alongside, hopefully he thinks the same about playing next to me,” Dawson told the press.

Since he joined the club in 2017, Hegazi has been a key player at the team and he represented the club at 38 Premier League games last season.
Despite his amazing performance with his team, Hegazi and his teammates could not avoid relegation to the championship.

Hegazi and Dawson have enjoyed massive partnership at the team’s back line and West Brom fans put much hope on their shoulders.

Dawson added “Ahmed and I have complemented each other’s games from the moment we came together and at the end of last season we showed what we can do.”

West Bromwich is doing well at the championship this season and they are third at the table with 39 points, six points behind the league leaders, Leeds United.
