CAIRO - 10 December 2018: Al-Ahly officially announced signing a four-year contract with Misr Al-Makssah’s left-back, Mahmoud Wahid.

The negotiations continued between Al-Ahly’s contracting department and Adly al-Ke’yi, the board's consultant on one side, and Al-Makassah’s officials on the other. The negotiations ended with the completion of all the financial procedures for the transfer of the player to the Red Giant.

Mahmoud Wahid, 24, signed his four and a half year contract starting from this January. It’s reported that Al-Ahly reached an agreement with Misr Al-Makssah to sign their left-back for LE15 million.

Wahid featured in 16 games this season; scored once and provided five assists.

This is the second signing for Al-Ahly in less than a month after including Mohamed Mahmoud, Wadi Degla's midfielder.

Mohamed Mahmoud, 20, shined with Degla this season scoring two goals at four games and he joined the national team under Mexican manager, Javier Aguirre.
