CAIRO –23 November 2018: Liverpool's Mohamed Salah believes that his team winning spirit is more important than scoring goals.

Salah has been name as Liverpool's player of the month (October) for the first time this season.
“It was not a bad month [for me], but I’m already looking forward to the next game,” he said after receiving the award at Melwood on Thursday.
“I’m happy with the results so far - with the team’s results firstly and my goals second; to score a goal to help the team is always something I like to try to do.

Salah scored decisive goals for Liverpool last October; he led the team to win against Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and Fulham by scoring one goal against each.
He provided two assists against Cardiff City before scoring a brace against Red Star Belgrad.
“We’ve started the season very well. All the players have put in great performances, so we have to carry on like this.”

“I’ve said before in interviews, it’s always a good feeling to play and score at Anfield,” Salah said. “The record I have at home is great and I really enjoy playing at Anfield a lot.

Salah earned the prize for seven times last season to be a record in the history of Liverpool.

“I’m looking forward to reaching 100 goals for Liverpool! Let’s see what happens, but there are many targets to try to aim for before then - first to try to win something for the club, to achieve something and continue winning games.

“Those things are more important than 100 goals.”
