CAIRO – 20 November 2018: Al-Ahly French manager, Patrice Carteron, announced on Monday the team's squad for their game against Emirati club, Al-Wasl, at the Arab Club Championship round of 16 second leg.

Ahmed el-Sheikh returned to the squad beside Nasser Maher, Mohamed Sherif and defender, Ahmed Alaa.

Carteron’s announced squad for the game consists of:
Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed el-Shennawy, Ali Lotfi
Defenders: Ahmed Alaa, Salif Coulibaly, Saad Samir, Ayman Ashraf, Sabry Rahil
Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Hesham Mohamed, Akram Tawfik, Karim Nedved, Islam Mohareb, Ahmed Hamoudi, Walid Soliman, Mohamed Sherif, Ahmed el-Sheikh, Nasser Maher
Forwards: Salah Mohsen, Marwan Mohsen, Walid Azaro

Meanwhile, Amr el-Solia, Mido Gaber, Ahmed Fathi, Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Hany and Junior Ajayi were ruled out of the squad for injury.

The first leg ended in Egypt with a 2-2 draw and Al-Ahly needs to achieve victory or a draw with more than two goals to reach the second round.

Al-Ahly players hope to make it up for their fans after they lost the CAF Champions League final to Tunisian giants, Esperance.
