CAIRO – 8 November 2018: The past few hours have seen controversy within the coaching staff of Al-Ahly on several technical matters regarding the important match against ES Tunis.

Al Ahly team arrived in Tunis on Tuesday to face Esperance Sportive in the return leg of the CAF Champions League on Friday night.

Al-Ahly’s coaching staff studies whether they will include Marwan Mohsen or Salah Mohsen in the starting line-up to replace the Moroccan striker, Walid Azaro.

The Moroccan striker was suspended from the Champions League Final second leg against Esperance of Tunisia in Rades after he ripped his own shirt and tricked the referee that granted him a penalty.

Many opinions outweigh Salah Mohsen as he is faster and has more finishing abilities than Marwan Mohsen who is more experienced as he is the main striker for the Egyptian national team.

Al Ahly defeated ES Tunis 3-1 in the first leg of CAF Champions League which was held at Alexandria's Borg el Arab stadium.

Al-Ahly’s coach Patrice Carteron held several meetings with the players and the coaching staff to give them the confidence before the important game.

Carteron, announced on Monday, Nov. 5 the team squad for the second leg of CAF Champions League final.

Al-Ahly veterans, Ahmed Fathy and Hesham Mohamed, were ruled out of the squad for injury and Carteron picked Nasser Maher and Bassem Ali to replace them.

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed el-Shennawy, Ali Lotfi
