CAIRO – 21 October 2018: Al-Masry club’s delegation headed on Saturday morning to Kinshasa, DR Congo, to face AS Vita in the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup’s semi final on Wednesday at Stade des Martyrs.

Al-Masry ended the first leg at Port Said stadium with a goalless draw and they are looking to decide the second leg by scoring goals.

A scoring draw between the two sides will see Hossam Hassan’s Al-Masry advance to the final on away goals rule.

Hossam Hassan’s team depends on their enthusiasm and speed, along with the experience of some elements in the team such as Kofi, Farid Shawki, Amr Moussa, Ahmed Shukry and Ahmed Jumah.

And the elements of speed and strength represented in Islam Issa, Turek Jibrin, Mahmoud Wadi and Grindo. The coaching staff knows well that their journey to Congo won’t be easy as they have to defeat the African team or at least get back to Egypt with a draw.

Port Said’s club fans dream of the first qualification in the history to the final of CAF Confederations cup. No Egyptian team has done it before except Al-Ahly when they achieved the first title for Egypt in 2015.
