CAIRO - 12 October 2018: The fourth edition of the Arab Rugby 7s Championship kicked off at the Maadi Olympic Center in Cairo on Friday.

Under the theme "Zayed Cup", Assistant Youth Minister Amr Haddad and Secretary Seneral of the UAE Rugby Federation inaugurated the tournament.

Haddad welcomed the Arab delegations participating in the tournament, stressing Egypt's keenness on hosting the Arab championships with a view to boosting inter-Arab relations.

Dhalai, for his part, expressed his happiness for holding the tournament in Cairo, thanking Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi.

The opening match will be between Egypt and Iraq.

The first edition of the championship was held in El Gouna
