CAIRO – 9 October 2018: Liverpool former defender, Jamie Carragher, believes that Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, is not the only player at Liverpool attacking line to receive questions about his form.

“Remember, it’s on the back of the World Cup; three players that have gone to the World Cup. The focus is on Salah a lot, but the other two aren’t firing at all. I think (Roberto) Firimino’s got one goal in five now, (Sadio) Mane’s got one in six or seven,” Carragher told skysports.

Salah is struggling to regain his last season’s form when he scored 44 goals for his club, including 32 goals at the League, which crowned him PFA Player of the year.

The former defender added, “For Liverpool, to be level top of the league, after eight games, with the front three not firing, it’s massively positive.”

Liverpool are sharing the top of the Premier League table with Manchester City and Chelsea with 20 points each.

Liverpool fans put all their hopes on the attacking trio’s shoulders to achieve the league title after 29 years of absence as they last won the title in 1990.
