CAIRO – 27 May 2017: Wales’ Football Association announced Friday that UEFA's Champions League Finale will be played under a closed roof for the first time ever out of fear of any possible terrorist attack, according to Marca.

Italian champions Juventus will take on La Liga’s leaders Real Madrid in Cardiff, Wales next Saturday.

Nearly 2,000 police will be positioned to ensure the safety of the fans on the day of the match, Marca said, adding that the two teams’ last training sessions will also be conducted under the stadium’s closed roof.

Last week, a deadly terrorist attack targeted pop singer Ariana G`rande's concert-goers at the Manchester Arena, claiming the lives of 22 people.
