CAIRO – 7 August 2018: Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club are over their disastrous 5-1 loss to Zamalek at the second fixture of the Egyptian League and they are concentrating on the game against Tunisian club, Espérance, at the Arab Club Champions Cup on Thursday.

“We forgot what happened against Zamalek at the league and we are focusing on the game against Espérance,” Al-Ittihad assistant coach, Mohamed Nour, told press on Tuesday.

Al-Ittihad reached the Arab Club Champions Cup's round of 32 after they topped their group at the qualifiers.

“It will be a tough game against the title holders. We watched their game against Kampala City at the CAF Champions League and it is clear that their midfield is their strength point," Nour added.

Espérance won the 2017 Arab Club Champions Cup title defeating Jordan’s Al-Faisaly 3-2 at the final.

Al-Ittihad fans will support their team at the first leg against the Tunisian club in Alexandria Stadium on Thursday.

The second leg is scheduled for September 2 at Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunisia.
