Zamalek vs Ittihad Alexandria, who will get the first victory?

CAIRO – 04 August 2018: Zamalek SC enters the Egyptian League’s second round aiming to snatch the first victory as they face Ittihad Alexandria at Petro Sport stadium at 08:00 p.m.

The white club’s fans fear another stumble as they failed to get more than one point in the league’s debut against Petrojet; the game ended 0-0.

Ittihad Alexandria’s first game wasn’t better than the white side as they ended it with a 1-1 draw against Arab Contractors.




Christian Gross and Mohamed Omar, Zamalek and Ittihad managers, search for the first victory depending on both teams’ matches history; there were no draws since 2011. But the White castle’s sons have a bright record as they won 9 out of the last 10 games; the last victory for Ittihad was on April 2018.


Gross will make several changes in the line-up after the poor performance against Petrojet which let Zamalek’s president, Mortada Mansour, to fine Zamalek players EGP 100,000 each.
