CAIRO – 1 August 2018: Ismaily Algerian manager, Kheïreddine Madoui, announced on Wednesday Ismaily squad for the Egyptian Premier League opening game against Al-Ahly on Thursday at Al-Salam stadium in Cairo.

The Algerian manager hopes for a good result against Ismaily’s fiercest rivals and title holders, Al-Ahly.

Egypt national team captain, Essam el-Hadary, who rejoined Ismaily last summer, was included in the list beside another five new signings.

Ismaily will miss Emad Hamdi and Baher el-Mohamady for cards accumulation from last season. However, Madoui believes that his team is ready for the game despite their absence.

“We played many pre-season games without Emad and Mohamady to be ready to face Al-Ahly without them. Al-Ahly is a big team with fantastic players but we are ready to stop their danger,” Madoui told press before the game.

Madoui’s squad for the game consists of: Essam el-Hadary, Mohamed Magdi, Mohamed Fawzi, Ahmed Ayman, Mohamed Hashem, Tarek Taha, Alaa Abdel Azim, Mahmoud Metwaly, Richard Baffour, Hosny Abd Rabo, Mohamed Sadek, Nader Ramadan, Wagih Abdel Hakim, Mohamed el-Darf, Lassaad Jaziri, Mohamed el-Shamy, Shokry Naguib, Abdel Rahman Magdi, Christopher Mendouga and Karim Bambo.

The game starts on Thursday at 9 p.m. (CLT).
