CAIRO – 17 July 2018: Al-Ahly will host Botswana’s Township Rollers on Tuesday night at the third round of the group stage at CAF Champions League.

Al-Ahly players have no option but to achieve their first victory at the group to keep their chances to reach the quarter finals.

The draw put Al-Ahly in Group A alongside Botswana’s Township Rollers F.C., Uganda’s Kampala City and Tunisia’s Espérance.

Al-Ahly suffered a frustrating start after a goalless draw with Espérance at home and a 2-0 loss to Kampala City in Uganda.

Al-Ahly, who won a record of eight CAF Champions League titles, stays at the bottom of the group with one point, two points behind Kampala City and Township Rollers who share the second position and three points behind the group leaders, Espérance.

Al-Ahly fans are waiting for the impact of Al-Ahly new manager, Patrice Carteron, on the team in his first official game with the club.

Carteron’s expected line-up for the game consists of: Mohamed el-Shenawy, Saad Samir, Ahmed Fathy, Ayman Ashraf, Ali Maaloul, Hossam Ashour, Moamen Zakaria, Walid Soliman, Amr el-Solia, Junior Ajayi and Walid Azarro.

Borg El-Arab stadium will host the game which starts at 9 p.m.
