CAIRO – 13 July 2018: Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, revealed on Thursday that he does not have the intention to sign more players and that he is happy with the club’s five signings in the summer.

“We signed the players we need, in this moment I think the squad is complete, only the possibility for one or two players to leave,” Emery told skysports.

Arsenal signed Uruguay’s Lucas Torreira, Germany’s Bernd Leno, Greece’s Sokratis Papastathopoulos, France’s Matteo Guendouzi and Swiss defender, Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Asked about the club’s desire to sign French midfielder, Steven N'Zonzi, Emery said: “I know him, but we didn't do movement for him."

Emery worked with N'Zonzi in Sevilla and Emery was the manager to bring the midfielder to Spain from Stoke City.

After signing Leno, the club has five goalkeepers competing for a position in the starting line-up.

Emery said: “It is clear we have many goalkeepers but we want to work in the future with three in the first team but now I want to look, work every day with all the goalkeepers and then I am going to decide the first."

Emery was appointed as Arsenal manager to succeed the club’s historic manager, Arsene Wenger.
