CAIRO – 11 July 2018: England faces Croatia at the second semi-final of 2018 World Cup at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow.

Both teams will challenge each others for the second spot at the World Cup final against France who defeated Belgium 1-0 on Tuesday at the first semi-final.

England players are seeking a World Cup final return after a long time of absence as they last appeared at the World Cup final in 1966 at home when they defeated Germany 4-2 to achieve their only World Cup title.

On the other hand, Croatia are searching for their first appearance at the World Cup final and they hope to surpass their best result at the tournament when they won the third place in 1998 World Cup in France.




England manager, Gareth Southgate’s chosen squad for the game consists of: Jordan Pickford; Kyle Walker, John Stones, Harry Maguire; Jesse Lingard, Jordan Henderson, Kieran Trippier, Ashley Young, Dele Alli; Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane.




Croatia manager, Zlatko Dalić’s chosen squad for the game consists of: Danijel Subašić, Šime Vrsaljko, Dejan Lovren, Domagoj Vida, Ivan Strinić, Ivan Rakitic, Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozović, Mario Mandžukić and Ante Rebić.

The game starts at 8 p.m.
