CAIRO - 4 July 2018: Egyptian footballer, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, revealed that he prefers to join the Turkish club, Galatasaray, rather than joining Inter Milan.

It was reported that Trezeguet reached an agreement with the Italian giants, Inter Milan, to join them starting next season, according to Filgoal website.

But Trezeguet will not play for Inter Milan; the Italian club aimed to loan the Egyptian winger to Parma club which returned to Serie A.

Trezeguet denied the reports that claimed he joined Inter Milan; he stated that he prefers joining Galatasaray as the Turkish club will play at the 2018\2019 UEFA Champions League.

"I am here to start the training sessions with Kasimpasa as I am still a player in their squad," Trezeguet said to BeIn sports network when he landed in Istanbul airport.

"I never said that I am joining Inter Milan, I am waiting for Galatasaray as I want to play at the UEFA Champions League," Trezeguet continued.

Trezeguet’s release clause in his contract with the Turkish club, Kasimpasa, is €5 million.

The Egyptian has an amazing goal-record in the Turkish league, as he scored 16 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions to lead the top scorers of his team.

Trezeguet is an Al-Ahly academy product. He joined the club when he was 9 and got promoted through the club youth rankings till he joined the first team at 19.

He played four years for Al-Ahly before leaving in 2016 to Anderlecht, who loaned him to Mouscron and Kasimpasa.
