CAIRO – 3 June 2018: Juventus aims to sign Polish Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, in case of selling their current Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The Italian newspaper, Corriere dello sport, claimed that Higuain's exit is a matter of time and that's why Juventus searches for the replacement.

Higuain joined the Bianconeri after they paid the release clause for Napoli which was €90 million.

Inter MIlan's striker, Mauro Icardi, is reportedly linked to move to the eternal rival Juventus but Corriere dello sport assured that the main target for Juventus is Lewandowski.

Lewandowski's agent announced last week that the Polish wants to leave Bayern Munich and considers seeing other offers in Europe.

Lewandowski featured in 48 games this season in all the competitions; he scored 41 goals. He is set to play the 2018 World Cup with his country, Poland. Poland places in group H alongside Senegal, Colombia and Japan.

Juventus hopes to finish the deal as soon as possible as they have good relations with the German club, Bayern Munich.
