CAIRO – 22 May 2018: Nogoom El Mostakbal announced on Tuesday that they have reached an agreement with Diaa el Sayed to be the team’s new manager. Sayed will succeed Mohamed Salah who led the team during the promotion journey.

Sayed will lead Nogoom El Mostakbal in their campaign at the Egyptian top division for the first time in their history.

Nogoom El Mostakbal had a great battle with Tersana to promote to the first division; they earned the promotion at the last game of the season.

Tersana entered the last game of the season against Gomhoriat Shebin leading the group with 57 points, one point ahead of Nogoom El-Mostakbal who faced Suez.

Shebin defeated Tersana 1-0 and granted Nogoom El-Mostakbal, who defeated Suez, their first promotion to the Egyptian League's first division.

Sayed is a veteran Egyptian manager and he led the national youth team at the 2011 U 20 World Cup in Colombia.

The club board also reached an agreement with former Egyptian international player, Abdel Zaher el Saka, to be the assistant coach and Ehab Galal to be the goalkeeping coach.
