May 17 (Reuters) - West Ham United manager David Moyes has left the club following the end of his short-term contract, they said on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old Moyes, who replaced the sacked Slaven Bilic in November, guided the relegation-threatened Premier League club to a 13th-placed finish.

"Having taken stock of the situation and reflected now the campaign is complete, we feel that it is right to move in a different direction," the club's co-chairman David Sullivan said in a statement.
