CAIRO – 8 May 2018: Chelsea Belgian winger, Eden Hazard, revealed on Monday that he hopes to finish the league at the top four and win a spot at the Champions League in the upcoming season.

“Now the target is just to win and be in the top four at the end of the season, and if we play like this the last three games, we can have something special at the end of the season,” Hazard told Chelsea TV on Monday.

Chelsea defeated Liverpool 1-0 at home on Sunday to keep on their chances to finish the league at the top four.

Chelsea are in the fifth place with 69 points, two points behind fourth placed, Tottenham Hotspur, and three points behind third placed, Liverpool, who played one game more than the other two teams.

Asked about their victory over Liverpool, he said “Beating Liverpool was a massive result. We all work together and when we play this kind of game, it is a good feeling after the game."

Chelsea still have two games against Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United and they need to win both games and wait for Tottenham and Liverpool to lose points.

Hazard added, “Let's hope for something big. It does not only depend on us but we will play, we will hopefully win, and then we will see the results of Tottenham and Liverpool.”
