PARIS, May 8 (Reuters) - The Ligue 1 game between En Avant Guingamp and Olympique de Marseille has been brought forward to boost Marseille's chances of winning the Europa League final, the French League said on Monday.

Marseille play Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final on May 16 in the French city of Lyon.

The Guingamp v Marseille match will be played on May 11 instead of May 12 when all the other games in the penultimate round of Ligue 1 fixtures are scheduled.

Guingamp agreed to bring the game forward for “the interest of French football”.

Marseille are fourth in Ligue 1, one point adrift of a Champions League spot for next season.
