CAIRO – 7 May 2018: Barcelona and Real Madrid ended their game, held at Camp Nou stadium, with a 2-2 draw to relieve the stress of fans of both clubs.

El Clasico was very intense and full of events; many consider it as the best Clasico in years. The referee just had no control over this game.

Barcelona are the real winners tonight as they remain undefeated in La Liga this season. They played the second half with only 10 players as Sergi Roberto was sent off at the end of the first half.

Luis Suarez took the lead at the 10th minute after he received a fabulous cross from Sergi Roberto. Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo equalized the score in the 14th minute when he well followed with Benzema’s header inside the box.

Things went more intense in the last 15 minutes when Real Madrid’s Ramos provoked Suarez in a repeated scene from the last Clasico. The referee gave each of them a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Roberto hit Real Madrid’s Marcelo in the face; the referee saw the incident and sent the Spanish right-back off the pitch.

Barcelona entered the second half with only 10 players, yet Lionel Messi scored the second goal for Barcelona in the 52nd minute.

Real Madrid were surprised by this goal and took time to get back to their form. Many chances were created by Los Blancos but all of them didn’t find Cristiano Ronaldo as he was subbed due to injury earlier.

In the 72nd minute, Gareth Bale sent an amazing shot to announce that Real Madrid are still in the game.
