CAIRO – 6 May 2018: Barcelona’s Luis Suarez considers Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann move to the Blaugrana as a done deal.

"It makes the club proud to bring players of this quality, like Antoine, like Dembele, and Coutinho came. He's a player who brings a huge amount; he has a lot of years playing at the highest level; always fighting. He rules up front for Atletico and that is fundamental,” Suarez said.

"He is not coming to take the place of anyone, but with the ambition of winning important things. He will be welcome," he added.

Griezmann has assured previously that he may not be at Atletico Madrid next season. He is reportedly linked to a move to Manchester United and Barcelona.

The 27-years-old featured in 46 matches this season with the Rojiblancos; he scored 27 goals and provided 15 assists.

Griezmann’s contract extends to 2022 and his release clause is €100 million ($120 million).

Nothing is 100-percent agreed, but it seems like he will sign for five seasons and be one of the best paid players on the squad, according to SPORT magazine. He could form a new trident with Leo Messi and Luis Suarez.
