Ramos on Salah: he will just be one of 11 players

CAIRO – 5 May 2018: Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos believes that Salah is not the major danger for Real Madrid on May 26.

Real Madrid faces Liverpool in the final match of the UEFA Champions League on May 26 in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. Real Madrid eliminated Bayern Munich in the semi-final 3-2 on aggregate, while Liverpool knocked out Roma in the semi-final 7-6 on aggregate.



"We have seen what Salah can do this season, but he will just be one of 11 players we face against Liverpool," he told the Daily Mirror, adding, "Throughout my career, I have faced the best forward players in the world – many of whom are considered among the greatest ever.”




"For me, there is never a fear. A respect, yes, but never a fear," Ramos said.

This is not the first time for Salah to face Ramos, as they met each other when Salah was at AS Roma. Real Madrid knocked out AS Roma 4-0 on aggregate in the 16th round of the UEFA Champions League in the 2015/2016.




On the other hand, Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren believes that Real Madrid should fear his side.

"They are quite confident, but we don't care for that; we are focused on our job," he said. "Why should we fear them? They should fear us."
