Zamalek leaves loaned players’ issue to Gross

CAIRO – 30 April 2018: Zamalek SC board of directors prefers to postpone the fate of the players loaned to Saudi clubs until the arrival of the new coach, Christian Gross, at the end of the season.

“Al-Tawon’s player, Mostafa Fathy, has ended his season with the team after he got injured; but other loaned players to the Saudi league still have matches,” Zamalek’s sporting director Ayman Hafez said to Al-Hadaf radio program.

“Shikabala still has a match with Al-Raed which is fighting to avoid relegation. Mahmoud Kahraba participates with with Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi Cup,” Hafez added.


“Everything will be decided by the arrival of Christian Gross,” Hafez assured.

Zamalek SC’s president announced that the White Club signed the Swiss coach Christian Gross in a two-year contract.

Gross prefers to start his reign with Zamalek at the start of the next season. The Egyptian League’s new season will start on Aug. 3.
