Al-Masry reached 58 points, six points behind the second placed, Ismaily, but Al-Masry played two games less.

“It was a tough game against one of the best teams in the League but the mentality of the players helped us to return in the game after Smouha’s first goal,” Hassan told press after the game.

Al-Masry still has four games against El Dakhleya, Enppi, Al-Ahly and Ismaily, while Ismaily has only two games against Al Nasr beside the derby against Al Masry.
