CAIRO – 21 April 2018: Barcelona defeated Andalusia’s Sevilla 5-0 on Saturday night in the Spanish Cup final at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

Barcelona dominated the game from start to end to win their fourth consecutive Spanish Cup title.

It took Barcelona 15 minutes to open the score by Luis Suarez, who put the ball in the net after a great pass from Philippe Coutinho.

Lionel Messi doubled the score for Barcelona 15 minutes later and then provided a stunning pass to Suarez to score the third goal 10 minutes later.

Barcelona continued their attempts to score but the Andalusian defense stopped all their chances, ending the first half 3-0.

Sevilla fans expected a reaction from their team in the second half, but they were shocked when Andres Iniesta dribbled Sevilla's goalkeeper to add the fourth goal for his team.

The referee granted Barcelona a penalty after a Sevilla defender blocked the ball with his hands, which Coutinho converted to make the score 5-0 20 minutes before the final whistle.

The remaining minutes turned into a one-side game from Barcelona players, who owned the pitch through the passes between Iniesta and Messi.

Iniesta, for whom this is expected to have been his last game in the Cup before leaving Barcelona, was substituted three minutes before the final whistle, receiving a standing ovation from both teams' fans.

Barcelona had a chance to add a sixth goal before the end of the game, but their attempt was blocked, ending the game 5-0.

Barcelona has the chance to win the double for the third time in the last four years, as they are three points away from achieving the league title.
