CAIRO – 21 April 2018: Liverpool failed to keep their 2-0 lead against West Bromwich, as Albion came back to a late 2-2 draw thanks to Albion’s striker Salomon Rondon.

Top Egyptian footballers in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah and Ahmed Hegazi, faced each other in the 35th round at The Hawthorns Stadium.

Salah kept his amazing goal-scoring run; the Egyptian scored his 31st goal in the Premier League this season, equalizing elite players like Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez, who have scored the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season.

Mohamed Salah has now scored against 16 of the 19 teams he has faced in the Premier League this season. He became the third player in history to be directly involved in 40+ Premier League goals in a single 38-game season.

Salah is now chasing a new record, as he is three goals behind the 42-game season record of 34 goals held by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.

Liverpool’s mind is on Tuesday’s match against AS Roma at Anfield in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League’s semi-final.

On the other hand, West Bromwich’s draw made them closer to relegation, as they are now in 20th place with 25 points.
