CAIRO – 14 April 2018: In only eight minutes, Chelsea turned from losing 2-0 to a 3-2 victory in the game against Southampton held at St. Mary’s Stadium in the 34th round of the Premier League.

Southampton led the game with two goals scored by Dusan Tadic and Jan Bednarek. After everyone was assured that the hosts had won the match, the Blues woke up and scored three goals in eight minutes. Frenchman Olivier Giroud scored two goals after entering the game in the 61st minute, and the third goal came by Belgian Eden Hazard in the 75th minute of the game.

Today's match is the first in 16 years for Chelsea to turn over a game after losing with two goals.

With that result, Chelsea rose to fifth place in Premier League’s standing table with 60 points, while Southampton is in 18th place with 28 points, meaning it may be among the teams to suffer relegation to the lower division.
