CAIRO – 13April 2018:Al-Ahly faces El-Dakhleya in the quarter-final of Egypt’s Cup at Al-Salam stadium on Friday at 7p.m. (CLT).

The clash could be the lifeline for El-Dakhleya, which has yet to decide their stay in the league since they hope to avoid relegation. El-Dakhleya places 14th with 33 points.

Al-Ahly faced El-Dakhleya in the last season’s Egypt Cup at the same round and won 2-1 thanks to former Al-Ahly’s forward Amr Gamal and current midfielder, HossamGhaly.

The Reds completed the competition by winning it over Al-Masry 2-1 in the final match.

Al-Ahly’s coach, Hossam El-Badry, is set to give the chance to some new players in tonight’s game taking advantage of deciding the League’s title six weeks earlier than its end.

Meanwhile, El-Dakhleya hopes to return to the road of victories over Al-Ahly as they lost four and drew in four of their last eight matches.
