CAIRO – 12 April 2018: Cairokee band vocalist Amir Eid released a new song on Thursday to celebrate Al-Ahly’s 40th Egyptian League title.
The song, “I am Al Ahly”, showed Eid performing as an Ahly fan in the video while recalling many historic moments for Al Ahly fans like Mahmoud El Khatib’s and Mohamed Abou Treika’s retirement days.
The song, produced by Vodafone, went viral among Al Ahly fans on social media since its release.
“I always had a dream to record a song for Al Ahly and their fans,” Eid posted on his Facebook account days before the song’s release.
The song lyrics were written by Nasr El-Din Nagy, composed by Ihab Abdel Wahed and directed by Mohamed Shaker.
Al-Ahly have achieved their 40th League title and they are ready to add the fourth star on their logo.
Al-Ahly won the title six weeks before the end of the season.
