CAIRO – 11 April 2018: Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard watched the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals between Liverpool and Manchester City from the stands of the stadium.

The current BT Sports pundit watched the game alongside former English internationals Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Lineker, who were analyzing the game for BT Sports.

Manchester City opened the score early in the game by Gabriel Jesus, and their fans started to believe in their ability to make a comeback, but Salah and his teammates returned in the game and won 2-1.

Salah was the hero of the night for Liverpool fans, as he scored the equalizer for his team after 10 minutes from the start of the second half.

Gerrard’s reaction was filmed seconds after the goal, as he celebrated and shouted, “Get in. Game over!”

Gerrard won the 2005 UEFA Champions League title with Liverpool and he hopes to see his team win the title again.

Liverpool will know their opponent in the semi-finals on Friday when the draw will be held.
